Introducing KeepSolid Sign 1.2. What’s New?

Reading Time: 1 minute

Hey, great news, everyone! New 1.2 version of KeepSolid Sign has become available on 4 platforms: macOS, iOS, Android, and web (with the Windows version coming soon). And it brings you several major convenience and privacy updates. We’ve improved users’ privacy by complying to the GDPR, introduced folders to help you keep your documents organized and easily-accessible, and optimized the Sign Order feature to prevent any confusion. Check a detailed review for your platform below.

macOS

GDPR

Starting now, KeepSolid Sign is GDPR compliant. The General Data Protection Regulation is a set of rules that, among others, grants people the right to be forgotten, meaning they can request that all their personal data be completely deleted from a service provider’s database. The GDPR’s overall idea is to enable users to better control what information they allow organizations to process and store.

Folders

You can create folders to conveniently store your documents, signed and those waiting to be signed. Folders are a great way of organizing things in the app, it will be most appreciated by those who work with many documents on a daily basis, for they can sort documents by the date of their creation, type, or by any other parameter they want.

Working with folders:

  • To create a folder, right-click on empty space in the document list.
  • To place a file into an existing folder, simply drag a document over the folder.
  • If you want to create a folder and place files into it simultaneously, drag-and-drop a document onto another document you want to be placed in the new folder.

See all pending documents

Some of you have complained it was confusing not seeing documents you were sure to have been sent for signing. We’ve heard you and from now on, all signers will see the documents put up for them to sign regardless of the Sign Order. If there is a specified order in which a document must be signed, those signers waiting for their turn will see a blurred thumbnail of the document. If clicked on, a pop-up appears saying “Please wait for your turn to sign this document”. This will prevent possible misunderstandings and further improve your signing experience.

Sign without registration

Before we have implemented this feature, signees would have had to have a KeepSolid Sign account to access documents sent to them. This was done in order to provide you with high-grade security. However, we understand that in the fast-paced world your partners may not have time to register in our app. That’s why now signees aren’t required to create a KeepSolid Sign account to work with documents. You can simply add a participant (specify their email address and full name) in the document and click the Send button. They will get an email with a link, follow it, and will be able to work with the contract. The process of eSigning became even more transparent, secure, and fast.

Note: If you work with certain participants on an ongoing basis, we highly recommend that they create an account in our app to benefit from all of its Collaboration features.
